Underwood Family Farms' 14th Annual Fall Harvest Festival is here! This year's Festival will feature all of the activities from past years plus many, many more. 

We are very excited to have Public Safety Weekend back for the 2nd year at the farm on October 1 & 2. The proceeds from the weekend's gate will help benefit The Ventura County Sheriff's Charity Organization Cops Running for Charity and The Ventura County Firefighter's Search & Rescue OrganizationIt will be filled with demonstrations including a Firetruck kid's can climb on, Bomb Squad with robot, Swat members with SWAT tank type vehicle, Search and Rescue Snow Cat, K-9 Demonstrations, Disaster Action, Response Team display (DART), Police Car, Police Motorcycle, Search and Rescue Displays, a Dozer plus MUCH, MUCH more! There will even be free displays just outside the gates. (Weekend Activities & Demonstrations Subject to Change at any time)

The Underwood Family Farm's Folk Festival is back for the 4th year from 10am - 5:30pm on October 8 & 9.  We proudly present on our stage the finest folk artists and musicians from in and around Ventura & LA Counties. Do you play folk, old-time or Bluegrass? Come on out with your instrument, join a group and jam! Submit your email for our e-newsletter to info@underwoodfamilyfarms receive $3.00 off your admission on Public Safety and Folk Weekend! (Please note: The $3.00 off coupon is for up to four people & is valid on Public Safety & Folk weekend ONLY. Safety Weekend coupons will be emailed on 9/30. Deadline for Folkfest coupons submissions is 10/6. Emails submitted after the 10/6 deadline are not guaranteed to receive a coupon. Don't miss Antique Tractor Weekend on October 15 & 16 (10am-4pm) with antique tractors and even a tractor parade! October 22 & 23 is our 8th year hosting Western Heritage Weekend! From 11am - 3pm, there will be stunt ropers, country music, cowboy poetry, a medicine show and much more! New this year - we welcome to the Main Stage the bands The California Cowboy Band on October 22 and the Tumbling Tumbleweeds on October 23! At 3:00pm, the Wild West rides off into the sunset and the Hollow Trees liven up the stage with their high-energy children's music.

October 29 & 30 is our popular All About Pumpkins weekend which will be filled with with live entertainment from 10:30-5:30! We'll have pumpkin demonstrations & feature displays of pumpkins, squash, and gourds as well as new and different ways to decorate them! Don't miss Zydeco band Acadiana and Bluegrass band The Catterwailers! On Monday, October 31st - Halloween - anyone dressed in a full costume (not just a mask or face painted) will receive FREE admission!! (Not applicable for school tours)

What would a festival be without tons of good food?!  On the weekends, there will be many food vendors serving up the Lion's Club hot dogs, hamburgers, roasted corn on the cob, pie, sliced
potatoes, mini-donuts, Spencer/MacKenzie's Mexican food, shave ice, kettle corn, cookies and many more homemade goodies to make your mouth water.  The Festival is also a great place to host a birthday party, a family reunion or even a corporate party.  Reserve your spot in our party area and enjoy the Festival too!  (Please note: We do not allow coolers other than individual sandwich/lunch coolers. Organized group parties are not permitted outside of the reserved party area.

We will carry numerous varieties of gourds, winter squash, Indian corn, and other fall decorating accessories available for purchase, as well as a large selection of pumpkin carving accessories. Don't forget to visit our amazing country store! And, of course, it wouldn't be a Fall Festival without acres and acres of pumpkins (AKA - a pumpkin patch), country games & activities pig races and great photo
opportunities!   
   

As in past years, the 2011 festival will be open from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. Admission to the festival is $12.00 on Saturdays and Sundays and $3.00 per person Monday through Friday. Children under 2 are free!  Plus - Parking is FREE!  Weekend admission includes a tractor-drawn wagon ride, the corn maze & hay pyramids, Animal Center with Fun Hill, Craig's Chicken Show, Kid's Corral & play area PLUS live bands including themed-weekend entertainment, the Animal Show, Pig Races & tons of open space & photo ops in the pumpkin patch! New this year are a Pumpkin House and the Pumpkin Basket.


We are proud contributors to many local non-profit organizations.  A portion of the proceeds helps support the Rotary Club, Pleasant Valley Lions Club, Boy Scouts of America,  and many other non-profit organizations.
