Country Classroom Tours

Online Reservations are coming soon!  But for now, please call 805-523-2957 to make a reservation.  All tours are conducted at our Moorpark location.

The Country Classroom Tours start with an educational presentation from the farmer. Everyone will learn about the life of a plant from the seed to the flower, the ever-changing seasons, the differences between fruits and vegetables as well as some of the different varieties and uses for them.

Your entire group will enjoy a vintage tractor-drawn wagon ride around the farm. The tractor will stop in the fields for the group to get their “prize pickings” to take home. After enjoying snacks or sack lunch in one of our shaded picnic areas, the group will be able to visit the friendly residents of our Farm Animal Center including horses, cows, pigs, goats, and rabbits - just to name a few. Before the tour comes to a close, the teacher will be given a farm activity coloring book for every child.

Approximately 2 ½ hours including Picnic and Farm Animal Center.

Please choose one tour from the following list:

1) Country Classroom Strawberry Tour - in which everyone will pick a 1 lb basket of strawberries
2) County Classroom Vegetable Tour - in which everyone will pick a bag of assorted vegetables
3) Country Classroom Pumpkin Tour - in which everyone will pick a Sugar Baby pumpkin + one “Class Pumpkin”

Cost:   $8.00 per person. Teachers are Free!
Minimum Price: $160.00
