Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Web site as well as all transactions conducted through the site.


All the items that you have in your shopping cart appear in your order during checkout. If you do
not want to order all the items, simply edit your shopping bag before clicking "Checkout." When you click "Place Order" you are automatically transferred over to the PayPal interface to pay for your order. Your order will not be placed and your PayPal account/credit card will not be charged if you do not click "Place Order".

Canceling an Order

If you would like to cancel or change an order that you've just placed, please call 1.800.932.4252  as soon as possible. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request, however; items that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.

Methods of Payment
Underwood Family Farms accepts the following credit cards through PayPal: Visa MasterCard Discover AMEX  or you may opt to use your PayPal account.  (Please note that our farm stands only accept Visa and MasterCard and PayPal is used to process online sales only.)

If we are unable to process your credit card, please check to ensure you entered the correct card number and expiration date, and that the billing name and address you entered match your credit card statement exactly. Please refer to your credit card company if the problem persists.

Shipping and Delivery

All of Underwood Family Farms' Shipping Rates are calculated through a Fedex interface and based on weight.  All fresh produce baskets require next day FedEx (Standard Overnight) shipping.  Saturday delivery is not offered on our site, but if requested, we can accomodate for an extra $10.00. 

Our gift baskets are made to order and require  72 hours advance notice so that we may provide the highest quality fruits and vegetables.  Please remember orders placed on weekends or holidays will be sent out within 3 business days.

Please note the following shipping rules:
  • Underwood Family Farms currently cannot ship to P.O. boxes
  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by carriers
  • Deliveries available on business days only.
  • We currently only ship to within the United States (we cannot ship to Hawaii or Alaska)
  • If you are ordering multiple baskets that require that we deliver to different addresses, you must do an order for each shipping address
Local Delivery
We offer the option of local delivery for customers in the Ventura/LA County area.  This option is available to local customers or gift recipients only. You may choose from the following locations where you will be picking up your basket and then you need to enter your choice in the special instructions box on the checkout page.

Farmers' Market Locations: Brentwood, Calabasas, Camarillo, Culver City, Encino, Hancock Park, Hollywood, Pacific Palisades, Pasadena, Ventura, Thousand Oaks

Sales Tax

Underwood Family Farms charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped.

Tax is based on the tax rates for your taxing jurisdiction (derived from the ship-to address being used for your order).

Please note:  Prices are shown in U.S. dollars ony.  Currently, we do not ship or bill orders internationally, including Canada and we unable to ship our fresh produce baskets to Alaska or Hawaii.

Return Policy

Underwood Family Farms offers refunds or exchanges to products that are unopened and in sellable condition. 

If any shipment of fruit/vegetable baskets is damaged for any reason, we will replace or refund the entire basket including any shipping costs.  Often times, the basket is damaged due to the shipping carrier or weather related damages, however, we will assume full responsibility in any case.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days.  Returns or exchanges for products other than baskets will only be accepted after 30 days.  Returns or exchanges for products other than baskets will only be accepted by first calling Underwood Family Farms and receiving a Return Authorization Number.

Note:  10% restocking fee may be assessed to returns (other than defects and order mistakes).  We will not refund any postage for returned packages.  (other than for defects and order mistakes).
