Ordering Questions

How do I cancel an order?
If you would like to cancel or change an order that you've just placed, please call 1.800.932.4252 as soon as possible. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request, however; items that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.

What methods of payment can I use?
Underwood Family Farms uses PayPal to process online orders. You may use a credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX) through PayPal or you may opt to use your PayPal account.

Do you charge tax?
Tax is based on tax rates for your taxing jurisdiction (derived from the ship-to address being used for your order).

Tax is calculated at the product-level, as some states offer tax exemptions and exceptions for certain items. Some of the items in your order may be taxable and others may be non-taxable. Likewise, some taxable items may be taxed at a different rate than other taxable items in your order.

Underwood Family Farms collects applicable taxes in all states except Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire and Oregon.

Shipping Questions

Can I order multiple baskets and ship them to different addresses?
No our order system does not currently support that.  You will need to create an order for each address that you want to ship to.  So for example, if you want to order three (3) Suzannah baskets and ship two of them to your dad in Boise and one to your aunt in New York you would need to create two separate orders, one for your dad with two (2) baskets and one for your aunt with one (1) basket.

If I live locally or the recipient of the gift basket lives locally, can I/they pick it up?
Yes!  If you (or the recipient) lives in Ventura County they may pick up the basket at our Somis or Moorpark locations.  We also offer the option to pick up at any of our Farmer's Market Locations.  You need to select the Local Pickup shipping option and you must specify where you would like to pick it up when you checkout in the Special Instructions box.  If (because the option is based on ZIP code) the local shipping option doesn't pop up for you, please complete your order with FedEx shipping and indicate in the Special Instructions where you would like to pick up the basket and also send an email to info@underwoodfamilyfarms.com and we can adjust your sale with a credit.

Why is there only one FedEx shipping option?
All fresh produce baskets require next day FedEx shipping. Saturday delivery is not offered on our site, but if requested, we will accommodate for an extra $10.00

How far in advance do I need to order?
Our gift baskets are made to order and require 72 hours advance notice so that we may provide the highest quality fruits and vegetables. Please remember orders placed on weekends or holidays will be sent out within 3 business days.

Underwood Family Farms currently cannot ship to PO Boxes.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by carriers.
Deliveries available on business days only.
We currently only ship to within the United States.


Return Questions

What is your return policy?
Underwood Family Farms offers refunds or exchanges to products that are unopened and in sellable condition.

If any shipment of fruits, vegetables, or baskets is damaged for any reason, we will replace or refund the entire basket including any shipping costs. Often times, the basket is damaged due to the shipping carrier or weather related damages however, we will assume full responsibility in any case.

No returns will be accepted after 30 days. Returns or exchanges for products other than baskets will only be accepted by first calling Underwood Family Farms and receiving a Return Authorization Number.
